Fairstead Community Primary & Nursey School enjoys involving as many members of the community as they possibly can in events that they hold throughout the year.
As a locally based, long standing company Chas D Allflatt Ltd was proud to support community recourses and education within the area. So on Thursday 26th March we attended the schools Annual Careers Day from 1:30pm until 3:00pm.
The event is held each year to give Year 6 pupils from all primary schools in the King’s Lynn area an insight into what kind of careers they could have in the future, what that career would entail and what they would need to achieve in order to pursue that career.
There were 250 children from across King’s Lynn from various schools, who visited each company at the event and asked questions from a booklet that the school provided them with. The event was incredibly well attended, even King’s Lynn’s major popped in for a coffee and to see what it was all about!!
